A portable fire extinguisher with AVD (Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion) agent, designed to address thermal runaway in lithium battery fires. Suitable for Li-ion, Li-poly, electrical, and class A fires. Environmentally friendly with no GWP (Global Warming Potential), non-toxic to people, animals, and plants!

Lithium battery fires are fast and dangerous due to “thermal runaway,” triggered by cell failure from damage, defect, short circuit, overcharging, or overheating. LiCELL™ extinguishers with AVD encapsulate the fire source, creating a non-flammable oxygen barrier and providing a cooling effect to control thermal runaway.

Lithium battery failure can be caused by:

• Physical impact or penetration
• Overheating

• Internal cell failure
• Manufacturing defects
