TeamO buying guide

Three choices that change which TeamO model fits

BackTow or low profile

The Micro is the low-profile 170 N model without BackTow or an integrated deck harness. Coastal, Offshore, and Ocean models add both. BackTow is manually activated after inflation and requires a conscious wearer.

170 N or 275 N

TeamO positions its 170 N models for coastal and offshore sailing. It positions the 275 N Ocean for extreme offshore conditions or use with heavier foul-weather clothing and equipment. Confirm fit, intended use, and applicable equipment rules rather than choosing from buoyancy alone.

Water- or pressure-activated inflation

Micro and Coastal use the water-activated Mk5i system. Offshore is available with water-activated ProSensor or pressure-activated Hammar. Ocean uses ProSensor.

Match the replacement kit to the label

Match the exact model, inflation system, buoyancy rating, and carbon dioxide cylinder charge. The four current kits are not interchangeable.
