Shipping policy

Our online checkout currently serves US delivery addresses. We are a small team of boaters and sailors, and we work hard to get your equipment to you as soon as possible.

Packing your order

Packing may take 1–5 business days. We do not pack orders on weekends or holidays. If your order is delayed longer, we will contact you with options, including a refund of your order and shipping charges.

Packing time is separate from the carrier's delivery time. Selecting a faster shipping service does not remove the time needed to prepare your order.

Shipping confirmation and delivery

Once your order is packed and labelled, we will email your shipping confirmation with tracking details where the selected service provides them. Transit time depends on the carrier and service you selected. Cruising Solutions is not responsible for delays, damage or loss related to the carrier.

If you have a tight deadline, a breakdown or a changing marina address, contact us before ordering. We understand cruising schedules and will work with you on timing and delivery location.

Specialty products

Some products take longer to ship because they are classified as dangerous goods, such as fire extinguishers, or because we stock limited quantities. Check the individual product description for specialty-product and delivery notes.

USPS tracking and insurance

Tracking and insurance depend on the exact postal service. USPS Ground Advantage includes tracking and up to $100 of insurance, subject to USPS conditions. First-Class Mail letters and flats do not include those services as standard; eligible extra services may be purchased separately.

Check the service details before choosing a shipping option. If you choose an untracked and uninsured service, loss of the shipment and its shipping cost remains your responsibility.

International shipping enquiries

International destinations are not currently enabled in our online checkout. Contact us before ordering for delivery outside the US. For an international shipment that we separately confirm, the following terms apply.

Cruising Solutions ships under INCOTERMS DDU. The customer is responsible for local taxes, tariffs, VAT, brokerage fees, import duties and customs fees upon delivery. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and cannot be predicted. Contact your local customs office for more information before ordering.
