Product Description: The LiCELL AH500 is a portable fire extinguisher containing AVD (Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion), designed to combat lithium battery fires in a stainless steel canister that is refillable. It's suitable for smaller lithium battery fires (Li-ion and Li-poly), electrical fires, and class A fires. This environmentally friendly extinguisher has no Global Warming Potential (GWP) and is non-toxic to people, animals, and plants.

Lithium battery fires are dangerous due to thermal runaway caused by cell failure from damage, defect, short circuits, overcharging, or overheating. The LiCELL™ extinguishers encapsulate the fire source with a non-flammable oxygen barrier that cools to stop thermal runaway. This unique technology can protect lives and assets on oceans and waterways from catastrophic fires.
