  • Advice from real cruisers

The Nodus T-Close is a Dyneema soft shackle designed for compatible blocks and pulleys with an open central axis. Its flexible connection helps the block align with the applied load.

Choose the exact size

  • T2 is reference 20014: 500 kg straight breaking load, 5 cm closed length, and 15–30 mm internal block-sheave diameter.
  • T3 is reference 20015: 840 kg straight breaking load, 7 cm closed length, and 30–40 mm internal block-sheave diameter.
  • T5 is reference 20016: 2,450 kg straight breaking load, 9 cm closed length, and 40–50 mm internal block-sheave diameter.

Check the block

Confirm the block has a compatible open central axis, match the internal sheave diameter and closed length, and account for the real deflection angle. The load carried by the block changes as the line turns through the installation.

Shipping & lead times

We're a small team of boaters and we pack orders within 1–5 business days (no weekend or holiday packing). You'll get an email with tracking as soon as a label goes on your box.

Specialty items — fire extinguishers (dangerous goods) and low-stock or built-to-order gear — can take longer; the product description will say so. On a tight timeline or meeting your boat somewhere specific? Contact us and we’ll work out the fastest way to get gear to you.

International orders ship DDU: local duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Full details in our shipping policy.

Returns & refunds

30-day returns from the date of purchase. Items must be unused, in the original packaging with all cables and accessories, with proof of purchase.

Contact us before shipping anything back — we’ll send the return form that must accompany your return. Fire extinguisher and lithium battery items carry a $15 administrative fee on returns.

Read the full refund policy.

Ask a cruiser before you buy

Everyone here is a current or past cruiser — we’ve docked short-handed, re-rigged at anchor, and chased 12V gremlins too. Not sure this is the right fit for your boat? Send us your question before you order and we’ll give you a straight answer.
