FlexOfold Zinc Anode #116 for 4-Blade Propeller

The Flexofold 4 Blade Zinc Anode 116 is designed for use in salt water and helps protect your Flexofold folding propeller from galvanic corrosion. For sailors, keeping the propeller protected is critical, especially on cruising sailboats, offshore boats, and vessels kept in marinas where stray current and salt water can quickly degrade underwater metal parts. Replacing worn zincs regularly helps extend the life of your propeller, hub, and saildrive or shaft installation. This genuine Flexofold zinc anode is a simple but important maintenance item for any sailor using a 4-blade Flexofold propeller in salt water.

Zincs can be purchased to replace current degraded zinc anodes.

Installation of the Flexofold 4 Blade Zinc Anode 116

Tools needed for mounting: 6 mm hex / Allen wrench

Screws with Dri-Loc® can be used for mounting both above and below water.

Important Note

If you recycle screws that have been pre-treated with Dri-Loc® after they have been installed once, apply screw protection glue again. The Dri-Loc® function works only once.

We recommend that you use Loctite® 243 Screw Fuse Medium for your Flexofold 4 Blade Zinc Anode 116.
