Shipping & lead times

We're a small team of boaters and we pack orders within 1–5 business days (no weekend or holiday packing). You'll get an email with tracking as soon as a label goes on your box.

Specialty items — fire extinguishers (dangerous goods) and low-stock or built-to-order gear — can take longer; the product description will say so. On a tight timeline or meeting your boat somewhere specific? Contact us and we’ll work out the fastest way to get gear to you.

International orders ship DDU: local duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Full details in our shipping policy.

Returns & refunds

30-day returns from the date of purchase. Items must be unused, in the original packaging with all cables and accessories, with proof of purchase.

Contact us before shipping anything back — we’ll send the return form that must accompany your return. Fire extinguisher and lithium battery items carry a $15 administrative fee on returns.

Read the full refund policy.

Ask a cruiser before you buy

Everyone here is a current or past cruiser — we’ve docked short-handed, re-rigged at anchor, and chased 12V gremlins too. Not sure this is the right fit for your boat? Send us your question before you order and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Mesh communication built for wet decks

Designed for water

Bosun is IPX7 submersible, uses a UV-stabilized housing, and floats when the Sena marker buoy is attached. It is the Group 1 choice for docking, anchoring, sail training, and other work where the headset may be soaked or dropped overboard.

A conversation, not a radio call

Mesh Intercom 3.0 keeps communication hands free and full duplex. Open Mesh supports virtually unlimited participants across six channels; private Group Mesh supports up to 24.

The 124 g (4.44 oz) headset also pairs to a smartphone over Bluetooth 5.2 for calls and music. Sena publishes up to 20 hours of Mesh intercom time and a 2.5-hour charge.

Compatibility and support

Is Bosun actually waterproof and floating?

Sena's product page rates Bosun IPX7 submersible. Sena's current manual says the headset floats when the Floating Marker Buoy is attached. Rinse salt residue with fresh water and follow Sena care instructions.

How many headsets do I need?

One per person. Two make a complete conversation; choose the dual or quad pack for a new crew, or the single listing to add one person.

Will it talk to other Sena Mesh headsets?

Open Mesh is designed to communicate with Sena Mesh Intercom devices, including the EXPAND Mesh, N2R, and TuffTalk M families on this site. Keep firmware current and contact us before mixing generations if your existing equipment is older.

Can it connect to a phone?

Yes. Bluetooth 5.2 supports phone calls and music, and the Sena Marine app manages device and Mesh settings.

Where can I get setup help?

See Sena Bosun support for manuals and updates, or contact Cruising Solutions.
