A longer emergency ladder the person in the water can deploy

The Magic-Reboard 11-step ladder stays packed in its rail-mounted case until it is needed. Lead the high-visibility release cord down to the waterline so a person alongside the boat can pull the ladder open without help from onboard.

Why choose the 11-step model?

  • Eleven rigid rungs create a longer, steadier climbing path.
  • At least four rungs are designed to remain below the surface when correctly installed.
  • The 30 cm (11.8 in) rung spacing helps the person in the water find the next step.
  • A fluorescent strip and release cord make the packed ladder easier to locate.

Specifications

Rungs 11 rigid polyethylene-reinforced steps
Deployed size 25 x 350 cm (9.8 in x 11.5 ft)
Packed case 27 x 25 x 6 cm (10.6 x 9.8 x 2.4 in)
Weight 1.8 kg (4.0 lb)
Mounting Cow hitch around a suitable stern rail
Made in France

Installation matters

Mount the case where the release cord can reach the water and where the deployed ladder will clear the hull, rudder, propeller, and other obstructions. Test the complete deployment from the water before relying on it.

Need a shorter ladder? Compare the 9-step model with semi-rigid rungs.

Shipping & lead times

We're a small team of boaters and we pack orders within 1–5 business days (no weekend or holiday packing). You'll get an email with tracking as soon as a label goes on your box.

Specialty items — fire extinguishers (dangerous goods) and low-stock or built-to-order gear — can take longer; the product description will say so. On a tight timeline or meeting your boat somewhere specific? Contact us and we’ll work out the fastest way to get gear to you.

International orders ship DDU: local duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Full details in our shipping policy.

Returns & refunds

30-day returns from the date of purchase. Items must be unused, in the original packaging with all cables and accessories, with proof of purchase.

Contact us before shipping anything back — we’ll send the return form that must accompany your return. Fire extinguisher and lithium battery items carry a $15 administrative fee on returns.

Read the full refund policy.

Ask a cruiser before you buy

Everyone here is a current or past cruiser — we’ve docked short-handed, re-rigged at anchor, and chased 12V gremlins too. Not sure this is the right fit for your boat? Send us your question before you order and we’ll give you a straight answer.
