Low-profile Mesh communication for a growing crew
Always-open group conversation
EXPAND Mesh provides hands-free full-duplex communication with other Sena Mesh Intercom devices. Users can leave range and rejoin without rebuilding a Bluetooth pairing chain.
Comfort without blocking awareness
The 100 g (3.53 oz) behind-the-neck design sits over the ears while allowing awareness of surrounding sound. Its low neckband works with many hats, glasses, and climbing helmets.
Two users have up to 400 m (0.25 mi) of published open-terrain range. With six or more users relaying, Sena publishes up to 1.6 km (1 mi). Bluetooth 5.2 also supports calls and audio.

Compatibility and support
How many headsets do I need?
One per person. Two make a complete conversation. The published relayed range of up to 1.6 km (1 mi) requires six or more users positioned to relay the Mesh signal.
Will these talk to Bosun, N2R, or TuffTalk M?
Yes. Open Mesh is designed to communicate with Sena Mesh Intercom devices. Keep firmware current and contact us before mixing older Mesh generations.
Can a Bluetooth-only headset join?
Not directly. The active Bluetooth-to-Mesh adapter can bridge compatible equipment; contact us with the exact model before ordering.
Is EXPAND Mesh waterproof?
Sena does not publish an IP or weather-resistance rating for EXPAND Mesh, so this page does not claim one. Keep it dry. Choose NautiTalk Bosun for an IPX7 headset that floats.
Where can I get setup help?
See Sena EXPAND Mesh support for manuals, apps, and updates, or contact Cruising Solutions.
