LED Replacement Bulbs for boats let you update an existing fixture without replacing the whole light.

Use this page when you are replacing an existing boat bulb rather than adding a new fixture. Start with the base type, then confirm voltage range, physical length or diameter, light color, brightness, and whether the fixture needs dimming support. The most common mistake is buying by appearance alone while missing the pin style or fixture clearance.

Marine LED bulbs can reduce draw dramatically, but they still need to fit the socket and lens. Navigation-light bulbs also need the correct color and optical pattern for the fixture. If a bulb is part of a certified navigation light, confirm the replacement is appropriate for that housing before relying on it underway.

Compare LED Replacement Bulbs by base type, voltage, dimensions, color, and dimming needs.

Base family Check before ordering
Bayonet / BAY15D / BA15 Pin offset, single vs double contact, lens clearance
G4 bi-pin Side-pin vs back-pin, diameter, voltage, dimming
Festoon Overall length in millimeters and contact style
E26 / Edison Globe clearance, voltage, warm vs cool color

LED replacement bulb FAQ

What should I check before ordering?

Base type, pin offset, voltage, physical clearance, light color, and whether the fixture needs dimming support. Our bulbs are multi-volt (roughly 10–30V DC) with polarity-protected electronics built for marine 12/24V systems.

Warm white or cool white?

Warm white is usually more comfortable below deck. Cool white reads brighter for task areas. For anchor or mooring lights, choose cool white for maximum visibility.

Can any LED bulb go into a navigation light?

No. Navigation lights depend on color, visibility sectors, and output verified against COLREG requirements. Use bulbs specifically verified for that navigation-light job: warm white behind a colored lens, cool white behind a clear lens.
